menuMONSTERS RETURN TO OXFORD FOR 2024 SBL SEASON
OXFORD, AL - The City of Oxford and Ignite Sports announced today the return of the Choccolocco Monsters for the 2024 Sunbelt Baseball League season.
The home opener will be Friday, June 7 at 7:05 pm at Choccolocco Park against the Brookhaven Bucks. The Monsters open the regular season on the road against the Brookhaven Bucks on June 3 and 5.
“The City of Oxford is excited to welcome the Monsters baseball team back to Choccolocco Park,” said Mayor Alton Craft. “Oxford is pleased our growing recreational park has been selected to host this sporting entertainment experience. We look forward to welcoming families from throughout the region to enjoy our facilities and hospitality as they come to support the team.”
The Sunbelt Baseball League features some of the best collegiate talent in the game competing in a wood bat summer league. Many teams also feature home-grown talent, giving Oxford fans a chance to see its native sons on the diamond.
“The Sunbelt Baseball League is excited to welcome the Monsters back to Oxford and beautiful Choccolocco Park,” said SBL Commissioner Todd Pratt. “I look forward to traveling to Oxford and enjoying the tremendous atmosphere at the park.”
TICKET INFORMATION:
Tickets for all Monsters home games are just $10 for general admission seats. They are available for immediate purchase through the Choccolocco Park Ticket Office as well as online at https://gofan.co/app/school/AL86338.
Weekday games start at 7:05 pm CT, and Saturday games at 6:05 pm. The park will open two hours before first pitch.
MERCHANDISE INFORMATION:
Monsters merchandise will go on sale at Choccolocco Park beginning May 1.
