MONSTERS KEEP ROLLING, NOTCH THIRD STRAIGHT WIN

WALESKA, GA - Brandon Davis registered his first two RBIs of the season to help pace the Chattahoochee Monsters to an 8-3 win over the Waleska Wild Things on Monday night.

The Monsters have started hot in the SunBelt Baseball League, winning its first three in a row and out-scoring opponents 20-9 in that stretch. Even more impressive is that the team has produced those runs without the benefit of the long ball, as Chattahoochee is still looking for its first home run of the season.

Colton Dempsey earned the win in middle relief with his first appearance of the season. Dempsey gave up one unearned run and two hits while fanning six and walking none.

The Monsters head right back to battle the Wild Things once again on Wednesday in Waleska. First pitch is slated for 7:05 pm. The Monsters will open the home portion of the 2023 calendar on Friday and Saturday night at Golden Park when they face the Columbus Chatt-a-Hoots at 7:05 pm.
