MONSTERS IMPROVE TO PERFECT 4-0 WITH BLOWOUT WIN

WALESKA, GA - The Chattahoochee Monsters scored runs in five consecutive innings on Friday night to turn a close game into a blowout in a 10-2 win over the Waleska Wild Things on Wednesday night.

Trailing 2-1 going into the top of the fourth inning, the Monsters would one run to tie the game at 2-2, and then over the next four innings put one one more in the fifth and sixth, plus three apiece in the seventh and eighth for a convincing victory and a perfect 4-0 start to the season.

Chase Evans led the offensive attack for the Monsters, going 2-for-3 with four runs scored and two stolen bases.

Landon Johnson earned the win with four scoreless innings, allowing one hit while striking out three.

Chattahoochee will now host the Columbus Chatt-a-Hoots this weekend at Historic Golden Park on Friday and Saturday night. First pitch is at 7:05 pm both nights. Tickets are on sale now at MonstersBB.com and start at just $10 with discounts available for children, seniors and active duty military.
